A doctoral researcher measuring the social impact of emerging technologies met a student researcher, measuring star spectra. Together, they had an epiphany: school and workplace learning currently measure only the tip of the iceberg of what we learn -- and nothing about how we learn. Thus, LearnHaus was born: the future of measuring, managing, and improving cognitive skills.
AOF holds monthly meetings with speakers and programs in Sacramento, publishes a monthly newsletter, and engages in diverse and ongoing social activities such as movie nights, dinners, and solstice celebrations.

Black Nonbelievers (BN) is a 501 c3 non-profit organization. Camp Omni is a one-of-a-kind summer camp adventure that grows confidence, community, and kindness by fostering critical thinking, social-emotional learning, and joy in a safe, secular, outdoor experience. The Greater Sacramento Chapter of FFRF is a local chapter of the Freedom From Religion Foundation. We are a non-religious community of local people committed to living our lives free from religion, superstition, dogma and mysticism. The Sunday Assembly is a secular congregation that celebrates life. Our events on the second Sunday of each month are generally 75 minutes filled with music (80s and 90s pop hits), inspirational talks, poetry and art, donuts and coffee, and more... followed by a potluck!
We are radically inclusive - everyone is welcome, regardless of their beliefs (or lack thereof), their sexual orientation, their age, gender, or politics. Our events are free for all to attend, though donations are appreciated. We do not accept sponsorships. Childcare is provided.
