A new website has been developed which focuses on religious believers who are contemplating moving away from their religious perspective into the natural world of scientific understanding and critical thinking. Natural View’s mission is to be a resource for people re-evaluating or deconstructing their faiths.

Black Nonbelievers (BN) is a 501 c3 non-profit organization. Headquartered in the Atlanta area, BN provides an informative, caring, festive and friendly community, and connects with other Blacks (and allies) who are living free of religion and might otherwise be shunned by family and friends. Instead of accepting dogma, we believe truth and morality are determined through reason and evidence.

The Brights

We are participants in an international internet constituency of individuals. All of us have a naturalistic worldview, free of supernatural or mystical elements. A Bright's ethics and actions are based on a naturalistic worldview. The Brights aspire to an egalitarian civic vision. We want citizens who have a naturalistic worldview to be accepted as full participants in civil society.

Camp Omni

Camp Omni is a one-of-a-kind summer camp adventure that grows confidence, community, and kindness by fostering critical thinking, social-emotional learning, and joy in a safe, secular, outdoor experience. Established in 2006, our week-long residential camps for kids ages 8-17 are led by ACA accredited youth development professionals and provide a space for formative experiences rooted in humanist values and natural wonder.

Center for Inquiry West

The Center for Inquiry strives to foster a secular society based on reason, science, freedom of inquiry, and humanist values.
CFI’s wide range of freethought endeavors include the Council for Secular Humanism and its publication Free Inquiry magazine, the Committee for Skeptical Inquiry and its publication Skeptical Inquirer magazine, the Center for Inquiry Investigations Group which administers the CFIIG $500,000 Paranormal Challenge and looks into extraordinary claims, the Teacher Institute for Evolutionary Science which helps instructors teach evolution, Secular Rescue which saves freethinkers from persecution and imprisonment, Quackwatch which examines bogus medical claims, and the CFI Secular Celebrant program which certifies secular officiants.

Ex-Muslims of North America advocates for acceptance of religious dissent, promotes secular values, and aims to reduce discrimination faced by those who leave Islam.
We envision a world where every person is free to follow their conscience, irrespective of religious dogma or oppression.

Greater Sacramento Chapter of Freedom From Religion Foundation

The Greater Sacramento Chapter of FFRF is a local chapter of the Freedom From Religion Foundation. Stockton Area Atheists and Freethinkers

We are a group of non-believers that focuses on community involvement, social events, education and information, and activism.
Most of our meetings are held in San Joaquin County, from Lodi to Manteca -- though we occasionally join efforts with our friends in Modesto, Sacramento, and the Bay Area.

Sunday Assembly Sacramento

The Sunday Assembly is a secular congregation that celebrates life. Our events on the second Sunday of each month are generally 75 minutes filled with music (80s and 90s pop hits), inspirational talks, poetry and art, donuts and coffee, and more... followed by a potluck!
We are radically inclusive - everyone is welcome, regardless of their beliefs (or lack thereof), their sexual orientation, their age, gender, or politics. Our events are free for all to attend, though donations are appreciated. We do not accept sponsorships. Childcare is provided.
