Camp Quest Family Fun Zone

Camp Quest WestWe are proud to be working again with Camp Quest West, the secular summer camp for children here in California, to the Family Fun Zone.

This designated area is designed for families with children between the ages of 6 and 12.

Planned Activities

Lanyard Keychain Making

Lanyard expert? Or just always wanted to learn? Come along to the Camp Quest stall to make an awesome present for a friend or family member, or just a cool accessory for yourself!

From ori meaning "folding", and kami meaning "paper" is the traditional Japanese art of paper folding, which has since evolved into a modern art form. Come along and try your hand at making a duck, a flower or a tiny hat!

Balloon Modelling

Ever wanted to make a hat, a sword, a snail, or a dog out of balloons? Well it’s a lot easier than you think. Drop by the Camp Quest West stall to learn a new skill!

About Camp Quest West

Camp Quest WestCamp Quest West is designed for children from non-religious families: atheists, humanists, agnostics, freethinkers and others with a naturalistic world view.

We blend world-class science and critical thinking games with the traditional all-American outdoor camp experience. Think the glories of evolution paired with campfires and canoeing! Along the way, we build community, letting kids know that the skeptical community has something special to offer the world and role models to emulate.

Get ready for next summer!  Our camp will be in Nevada City (near Sacramento) and Wrightwood (near Los Angeles) in the summer of next year.
